"We hope for new leaders for the new ecosystem which has been made in different domains; in Start-up, Innovation & Research, Corporate world and for administrative management of the country," PM Narendra Modi said at 66th convocation ceremony of the Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Kharagpur via video conferencing. Engineers are the aspirations of 103 core citizens of India. They need to survey the present and have to anticipate the future that the innovations which we will need 10 years ahead would be made today.

"Engineers have the capacity to find long term solutions from the pattern of problems and the ability to take 'Pattern to patent'," he said while praising the students for introducing new innovations.

Modi encouraged the IITians by stating the Self3 mantra's "self-confidence, self-awareness and selflessness. It takes time to achieve the desired goals, be it mountain climbing, acquiring knowledge or making profit with constant efforts and patience. Everything is possible."

In the way of innovation and technology, there is no place for hurry. Every time innovative ideas will not be successful, but if they fail then also there is a success, a success to learn. Always remember that success mainstays on failures. "IIT is not only an Indian Institute of technology, it has to be a next level Institute of Ingenious Technology," Modi added.
